Historic all-female leadership contest underway
As one historic election draws to a close in America, another begins here in Wales.
Jenny Randerson, AM for Cardiff Central, and Kirsty Williams, AM for Brecon and Radnorshire, have submitted their nominations to become the next leader of the Welsh Liberal Democrats.
The party has seen a 3% surge in members in the run up to the contest, as supporters ensure they get a vote.
Hustings will take place throughout November, with ballots posted out on November 21.
