LDCF is coming to Bournemouth

LDCF has a full programme of events for the Liberal Democrat Party Conference in Bournemouth - please read on for more details.
Sunday 14th
STOP PRESS - EVENING CONFERENCE SERVICE

LDCF and Richmond Hill St. Andrew’s URC invite you to join us for the first annual evening conference service, after proceedings close in the hall. All welcome.  (The Church is on a driveway which runs up a slope from Bourne Avenue to St Stephen's Road. On the fringe diary map it is indicated by the cross below the words "Bournemouth Islamic Centre". On foot from BIC and main hotels enter from Bourne Avenue; cars must enter from St Stephen's Road.)

Monday 15th

LDCF AGM - Avon Room, BIC - 14.30-15.45

The LDCF executive invites all members to the AGM, to reflect on progress this year, consider the proposed constitutional amendments and elect the new committee. Members only. The first meeting of the new executive will follow immediately afterwards, venue tbc.

LDCF Fringe - Conscience in the Public Square - Westbourne Room, BIC - 20.00-21.15

The role of faith in public life is increasing under attack – what place for conscience in 21st century Britain? Come debate with MPs Phil Willis and Tim Farron and Director of Parliamentary Affairs at CARE, Dan Boucher.

Prayer and praise before conference. Andrew Stunell MP will be speaking as part of our theme "conscience in the life of David" on David fleeing from his son. All welcome.

Monday Morning Praise - Westbourne Room, BIC - 08.15-08.45

Prayer and praise before conference. Baroness Sue Garden will be speaking as part of our theme "conscience in the life of David" on David sparing Saul’s life. All welcome.

Tuesday Morning Breakfast Richmond Hill St. Andrew’s URC 8-9amam

Joint breakfast fringe with the Free Church group looking at the new poverty campaign "Get Fair". Steve Webb MP & Alison Jackson (Vice-Chair of Church Action on Poverty) to speak.
