Two Lib Dem MPs Dr Evan Harris and Danny Alexander
will be taking part in a conference "What can Cultural Europe do for Political
Europe?" at Sarum College, Salisbury, on 20 and 21 October. Other speakers
include Lord (Douglas) Hurd, Dr Sara Silvestri and Professor Ziauddin Sardar.
This should help us prepare for 2008, the European Year of Inter-Cultural
Dialogue.
The venue is a delightful one within the cathedral
close.
